Henry Ott

Henry W. Ott, 84, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022.

Graveside services will be held 2 pm Monday, January 24, 2022 at Highland Park Cemetery with Mr. Brant Davis officiating.  Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.    The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at the funeral home.   In lieu of flowers his memory may be honored with a gift to The Opportunity Center for Meals on Wheels, PO Box 5032, Borger, Texas 79008.

Henry was born December 16, 1937 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Sam Ott, Jr. and Alpha Newport Ott.  He married the love of his life, Alice Dunn, on March 20, 1959 in Calvary Baptist Church in Borger.  Henry accepted the gift of salvation from his Lord and Savior on June 17, 2017, the young man that delivered his oxygen led him in the prayer.   He enjoyed watching “wrastlin”, old westerns and Tom & Jerry cartoons.  Henry liked to spend his spare time playing bingo, going to the casino and going junking.  However, nothing brought more joy to his life than his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Alpha Ott; grandson, Chad Musgraves; sister, Rose Munholland; and brothers, Mack Ott and JT Ott.

Survivors include his wife, Alice Ott of Borger; daughter, Becky Campbell of Borger; sons, Danny Ott and wife Donna of Palm Beach, Florida, Ricky Ott and wife Tami of Borger, Darryl Ott and wife Cindy of Borger; grandchildren, Kevin Musgraves and wife Melissa, Daniel Ott, Angie Ott, Amanda Ott, Alicia Sanders and husband Brandon, Ricky Ott, Jr. and wife Dusti, Chase Ott, Nick Jaranilla and wife Megan, Alyssa Martin and husband Pierce; twenty-three great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
