A.A. Dean Lieb
PRINGLEA.A. Dean Lieb, 83, of Pringle, died Sunday, January 27, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 31 in the Stinnett United Methodist Church with Rev. Donald Ward and Rev. Gary Stevens officiating. Burial will be at Lieb Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Dean was born at home in Hutchinson County near Pringle, TX to Ernest and Ruby Lieb on April 4, 1929. He grew up on the family farm and attended Pringle and Stinnett schools, graduating from Morse High School in 1946. From there he attended Texas Tech University of Lubbock, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology in 1950.

Dean returned to his family farm after college to work with his family. He met the love of his life, Linda Begert, and married on June 3, 1965. They enjoyed a wonderful life together on the farm sharing interests and hobbies, volunteering and raising their three children.
A servant to God and his community, Dean served on the PringleMorse school board, North Plains Water District Board, ASCS Committee and Farm Bureau Board. He was very involved in the Stinnett United Methodist Church, serving on many boards and committees throughout his membership. In later years he and Linda volunteered for Hansford Hospice, blessing others with his quiet presence and encouragement. He enjoyed his family, grandchildren, reading, and history.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Chesta Lieb and Pete Lieb. Survivors include his wife, Linda a son, James Lieb and wife Sharon a son, John Lieb and wife Cindy, all of the PringleMorse area a daughter Lori Sparks and husband Lance of Gruver and seven grandchildren: Jacob and Audrey Lieb, Molly, Kate, and Cooper Lieb, and Rhett and Allie Sparks.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Lieb Cemetery Association, Morse Community Building, Stinnett UMC, or Hansford Hospice in Spearman.
