A "Skeeter" Hannon

A L " Skeeter" Hannon, 93 of Borger passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022, in Borger. Celebration of life will be 2:00 pm Friday, April 15, 2022, at First Baptist Church worship center. Cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

A L was born December 25, 1928, in Montague County, TX to Jimmy and Nannie Lee (Miller) Hannon. He came to Borger in the late 40’s and he served in the US Army from 1955 to 1957. He married Joyce Wheless in 1965 in Borger. He loved to race cars on a dirt track, motorcycles and just work. He was very creative.

Preceding him in death are his parents and a brother Homer and a sister Christine Romines.

Surviving is his wife of 57 years, Joyce; sons, Jeffrey Hannon of League City, TX,  Garry and his wife Brandi Hannon of Borger, and Jerry and his wife Melissa Hannon of Borger; daughter, Beverly Cleavenger of Austin, TX; brother, Jimmie Hannon of Pampa, TX; twenty grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
