Ada Jordan

December 28, 1937 — December 15, 2016

Ada Louise Jordan, 78, went home to be with her heavenly family on Thursday December 15, 2016.

Ada was born on December 28, 1937, in Panhandle, TX, to Everett and Glee Gaston, and has resided in Panhandle her entire life.

Ada was the loving wife of Truman Jordan for 61 years.

Ada was preceded in death by a son, Scott Dwayne Jordan, Mother, Glee Ada Gaston, Father, Everett Cleo Gaston, and Brother, Curtis Gaston.
She was the loving Mother of Gary, Scott and Glea. She had 5 grandchildren (Amy, Cody, Bobbie Jo, Lindsay, and Steven). Ada was the Great-Grandmother of 7 Great-Grandchildren

Though Ada's brother Curtis died at 2, she had a lifelong brotherly relationship with her First Cousins Cleo and the late Meredith Meaker.

The family has lifetime loving memories of Ada's selfless love and compassion and loyalty to her family. Ada was a great cook and spent many Sundays cooking her favorite Roast Beef meal and enjoyed her grandchildren coming over on Sundays and spending quality time with Grandma and Grandpa.

Ada graduated from Panhandle High School and worked for the Clerk's Office in Panhandle and also as a Legal Secretary for 30 plus years in Panhandle. She worked for Frank Dove, Ed Hinshaw, and Sherwood and Sherwood.
Christmastime, the birth of our Lord and savior, was her favorite season.

Ada truly was the families' rock and will be dearly missed.

Death leaves a heartache that no one can heal - except the Lord.
And, love leaves memories that no one can steal.
