Adell Banta

Borger - Funeral services for Adell M. Banta, 72, of Mooreland, Ok will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Fritch Church of Christ with Richard Kasko, Minister officiating. Interment will follow in The Garden of Devotion Westlawn Memorial Park.

Mrs. Banta was born April 14, 1934 in Punkin Center, Oklahoma. She moved to Borger in May of 1951 and married George Banta November 13, 1951 in Holdenville, Oklahoma. George preceded her in death in 1995, she was also preceded in death by 3 granddaughters Chandra, Taneena and Tareena Burton. She was a Security Guard with Allstate before retiring.

Mrs. Banta is survived by two Daughters - Terri and Cecil Prock of Amarillo, Patricia and Kent Burton of Woodward, OK; one son - Jerald Banta of Amarillo; two brothers - Leon Cossey and Houston Cossey both of Oklahoma City, OK; 6 Grandchildren - Dean Burton, Blake Burton, Brandon Burton, Deleena Burton, Shaleigh Hohon and Talonna da Silva and 5 Great-Grandchildren.

Casket Bearers will be, Albert Stegall, Bob Kenimer, Garland Kite, Rocky Harbin and Kay Litterell.
