Al Kemp Jr., 80, of Borger, died Saturday, October 22, 2011 in Pampa.

The family will be conducting a Memorial Service, Friday October 28, 2011, at the Church of Christ at Borger with Eugene Brown of Pampa officiating.

Cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mr. Kemp was a Borger resident since 1957, and formerly worked for Claude Robinson as an operator on oil rigs.

Survivors include seven sons Gene Kemp Sr. of Borger, Al Kemp III also of Borger, Anthony Kemp of Amarillo, Gerry and Terry Kemp, Kevin Kemp of California, and Claude Kemp of Dallas five daughters Mildred Brown of Waco, Althea Davis of Dallas, Alberta Williams of Houston, Pamela Kemp of Borger, and Nina Kemp of Amarillo three step daughters Melinda and Michelle Johnson, both of Dallas, and Linda Michelle Walker of Borger a sister, Alberta Ross of California 38 grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren.
