Alberta M. Billington, 83, died Wednesday, October 1, 2008 in Amarillo.BRBRServices will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Minton Memorial Chapel with Mr. Ron Murray officiating. Interment will be in Vesperland Garden at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRMrs. Billington was born on June 12, 1925 in Coleman, Texas and had lived in Borger since 1995. She owned a shoe store in Amarillo. She was a member of Franklin St. Church of Christ. Her passions were cooking, gardening, taking care of Lil Cat and doing Bible Studies.BRBRShe was preceded in death by her parents - Walter Fannie Mow, husband - Cleo Billington, great-granddaughter - Heather Hamilton, daughter- JoAnn McLeod and three brothers.BRBRShe is survived by three daughters - Berta Rodriguez of Corpus Christi, Fannie Orr and husband Sonny of Borger, Betty Terrey and husband Tom of Corpus Christi, nine grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Casket bearers will be Randy Rodriguez, Ricky Orr, Mark Hamilton, Danny Rodriguez, Bill Hamilton, Dondi Brame and Presley McMahan. Honorary casket bearer will be Jay Willimon.

The family will be staying at 722 Montana in Borger.
