Alice Crawford

Alice Crawford, 73, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014.

Funeral service will be held 10 am Monday, August 11, 2014 at the Church of Christ in Panhandle. Burial will follow in Panhandle Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, her memory may be honored with a gift to the American Cancer Society or the Church of Christ in Panhandle.

Alice was born June 29, 1941 in Denver, Colorado to Arthur and Lavelle Stanley. She attended Palo Duro High School. Alice married the love of her life, Thomas Elmo Crawford on September 29, 1962 in Amarillo. She enjoyed quilting, fishing and going on motorcycle trips with Tommy. Lovingly called Min or MiniGranny she was adored by her grandchildren but not nearly as much as she adored them, spending time with them gave her great joy.

She is preceded in death by her husband biological parents father, R.C. Davis stepdad, Ed Gilley daughter, Donna Lee Gaines grandson, Shawn Crawford great grandson, Richard Davis and brother, Lynn Eldon Andy Mince.

She is survived by her mother, Murillo Davis Gilley of Panhandle daughter, Marie Rea Bob Allen and her husband, Jerry of Hooker, Oklahoma sons, Donald Ray Crawford and his wife, Christine of Phoenix, Arizona, Richard Lynn Crawford and his wife, Gale of Dallas, Texas, Johnny Elbert Crawford and his wife, Tara of Panhandle soninlaw, Larry Gaines of Tecumseh, Oklahoma fourteen grandchildren twenty five great grandchildren two great great grandchildren brother, Tom Nisbet and his wife, Mary Lou of Amarillo and a host of extended family.
