Alice B. Hawkins, 79, died Thursday, August 17th, 2006 in Katy, Texas.BRBRFuneral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at First Assymbly Of God with Pastor Rev. Calvin Newton officiating.Burial will be in the Garden of Good Shepherd at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger, Texas.BRBRMrs. Hawkins was born on July 27, 1927 in Hammon, Oklahoma and she had been a resident since 1948. She was an elementary teacher for the Borger Independent School District and was an accountant. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. She married Calvin S. Hawkins on September 3, 1950 in Borger and he preceded her in death in September, 1980. .BRBRHer survivors include two sons - Herman Hawkins and his wife Rosie of Katy, Tx., Donald Hawkins and his wife Mona of Lake Mary, Florida, three grandchildren - Jessica Hawkins of Katy, Tx., Shawnee Hawkins of Borger, Shirley Hawkins of Odessa and one great-granddaughter.
