Alice Jean Kossey, 66, died Saturday, September 6, 2008 in Amarillo.BRBRServices will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at New Beginnings Church with Pastor Don White officiating. Interment will be in Vesperland Garden at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.BRBRMrs. Kossey was born on September 19, 1941 in Canadian, Texas and had been a Fritch resident since 1993. She married James Kossey on February 8, 1957 in Borger, and he preceded her in death in April, 2008. She was also preceded in death by her son Jackie in 1960, brother - Robert Webb in 2008 and her parents, Roy Juanita Akin Webb. She was a floral designer and homemaker, and was a member of New Beginnings Church and served as the church secretary.BRBRShe is survived by her son Mike Kossey and wife Tina of Borger, daughter - Cindy Crowder and husband Bill of Fritch, two brothers - Eddie Webb and wife Betty of Fritch, Melvin Webb of San Antonio, six grandchildren - Elicia Kay Sansom, Damon Laci Ryan, Tammy Heard and husband Casey, Cody Cole and wife Lisa and Daniel Cole and wife Anita, nine great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.BRBRCasket bearers will be Danny Carlisle, Shae White, Chad White, Allen Calhoun, Jeff Laird, Preston Farmer and Heath Carlisle.
