Alice Wiseman

Panhandle Alice Jane Janie Wiseman, 66, died Wednesday, March 21.

Services will be at 10 A.M., Monday, at the First Baptist Church in Amarillo with Rev. Howard Batson officiating and Rev. Steve Vernon, Baptist General Convention assisting. Burial will be in the Panhandle Cemetery. Arrangements are by Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Wiseman was born on May 5, 1945 in Ft. Smith, AR to William L. and LaFerne Machen. She married David Elmon Wiseman on March 19, 1965 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was a member of the Baptist Singing Women of Texas.

Survivors include a son, David L. Wiseman and wife Caroline of Albuquerque NM daughters Polly Stevens and husband Scott of Gatesville, TX, and Amy WisemanAshley and husband Jason Roy of Pontiac, MI. her parents Mac and Ferne Machen and six grandchildren.

Family visitation will be Sunday, March 25, from 24 p.m., at the Minton Chatwell Funeral Home in Panhandle.
