Alma Mowery

Alma Marie Mowery, 85, died Friday August 17, 2012 in Willcox, Arizona. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Stinnett Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Tom Lapacka, Pastor of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Borger officiating. Local arrangements are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mrs. Mowery was a Borger area resident for 50 years and was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. She was a Dietician for 35 years and sold Home Interiors. She was a member of the Ergonian Society where she was past president. She was a big fan of the Stinnett Rattlers and the Dallas Cowboys football teams.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, A. D. Mowery, her son Allen David Mowery, her sister Mary Grace Smith, and her brother Loren Cutler.
She is survived by her daughter Gloria Norris and husband Jimmy, of Willcox, AZ, her son Bruce Mowery of Amarillo, her 2 sisters Erma Hoeltzel husband Bruce, Wanda Tidwell and husband David all of Enid, OK 4 Grandchildren Jennifer Norris and Jim Furgason, Tamra Norris, Timothy Norris, Nathan Norris and wife Bethany, 5 GreatGrandchildren Preston and Lane Dubois, Kade and Keeley Norris, and Sydney Allison Norris.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the Funeral Home.
