Alma Villa, 69 of Amarillo passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017 in Borger.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the Fritch Assembly of God with Pastor Justin Unwin officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Amarillo. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Alma Villa was born March 6, 1947 in Edinburg, Texas to Alice (Hilliard) and Joe Olivarez. She married Josh Villa December 25, 1971 in El Paso. Alma had been very involved with the Full Gospel Evangelistic Church in Oklahoma, and was a resident of Amarillo since 1985.

Alma is preceded in death by a son David Villa in 1974, her parents, and a sister in law Liza Lanners.

Survivors include her husband Josh Villa; six brothers Gilbert Olivarez, Eugene Olivarez, Ernie Olivarez, all of Saginaw, Michigan, Willie Olivarez of Tyler, Salvador Olivarez of El Paso, Sam Olivarez of Bay City; one sister Connie Montez of Tucson, Arizona; three sisters in law Lydia King of Amarillo, Elizabeth Galley and Ruth Smith both of Fritch.
