Alton W. Harvey, 83, of Borger, died Saturday, October 20, 2012.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at the Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Alton was born October 18, 1929 in Elmira, New York, and was in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Wanda June May 26, 1972 in Borger. Alton was a truck driver, and crossing guard at Gateway Elementary. He was a member of the American Legion, Moose Lodge, Hutchinson County E.O.C., and loved the Dallas Cowboys, bingo, and fishing.

Survivors include two sons Jim Marrs of Fritch, Donny Marrs of Fresno, California three daughters June Jubeck of Colgate, Wisconsin, Hope Floyd of Amrillo, Diane Dick, 20 grandchildren, including James Marrs II and wife Courtney of Borger, and numerous greatgrandchildren.

Alton is preceded in death by his wife Wanda June Harvey, March 6, 2011, his parents, a stepson, Ronald Lynn Marrs, and a grandson Keith Stimson.
