Alvin Jones

Alvin Mac Jones, 80, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017.

Funeral service will be held 10 am Friday, October 6, 2017 at the Fritch Church of Christ with Mr. Richard Kasko officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral of Fritch. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.

Alvin was born April 22, 1937 in Leedey, Oklahoma to George V. Jones and Annis Irene Rose Jones. He married Betty Lou Phillips on July 3, 1955 in Borger. Alvin enjoyed doing wood working, giving people a hard time and visiting. However, doing things with his grandkids brought him the most joy.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Betty; daughter, Brenda Caudle; brothers, James Jones and Bobby Jones.

Survivors include sons, Adrian Jones and wife Mary Ann of Silt, Colorado, Curtis Jones and wife Sheila of Alabama; eleven grandchildren, Josh Jones and wife Geneice, Victoria Gould and husband Evan, Jeremy Jones and partner Ryan, Shelieda Jones, Anna Jones, Violet Kelly, James Jones, Sheila Jones, Scott Isbell, Jody Isbell and wife Vanesa, Brienna Downs; nineteen great grandchildren; brothers, Leon Jones, Paul Wayne Jones; sister, Valda Davis; dear friends, Don and Linda Wright of Amarillo; and a host of extended family and friends.
