Amzie Henderson

Eric "Spanky" Henderson, 53 of Borger died August 8th in Amarillo. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday August 15th at Grace Church, with Ross Forney officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. There will be a visitation at the funeral home from 5 pm to 7 pm on Friday.

Spanky was born March 30, 1962 in Borger to Howard and Linda Nix Henderson. He was a street and alley supervisor for the city of Borger before retiring. He was a member of Church of Christ of Borger. He married Dannett Witt October 3, 1986 in Borger. He loved the outdoors and especially his Cowboys ,Longhorns and Nascar.
Spanky was preceded in death by his mother Linda, brother Tommy, grandparents Amzie and Velma Nix and Tom and Margaret Henderson.

He is survived by his father Howard of Lake Texhoma, Ok. Wife Dannett of Borger. Son David and wife Katie Henderson of Skellytown. Daughter Ashley Henderson of Borger. Brothers Darren and wife Elsa of New Braunfels, TX; Dean and wife Susan of Jackson, MS. Brother in laws Darick Witt and wife Missy of Borger; Casey Witt and wife Joey of Borger. Mother in Law Sylvia Witt of Borger. Lots of nieces and nephews
