Andrew Papa Andy Clifton Harris III, 64, of Canyon, died Friday, November 20, 2009 in Amarillo.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Minton Memorial Chapel in Borger with Rev. Norman Shuman Pastor of Word of Life Church officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Andy was born April 30, 1945 in San Diego, CA. to Andrew Clifton Jr., and Barbara Park Harris. On February 27, 1964 he married Barbara Ann Harrell in Borger. Andy was a graduate of Borger High School and was a bricklayer for 40 years.

Survivors include his wife Barbara Ann of Canyon; mother Barbara Park Harris of Amarillo; 3 daughters Jana Smith and husband Tim and Amanda Parker and husband Justin both of Amarillo, Billie Harris Crow and husband Gene of Canyon; and a son Andrew Harris of Bartlesville, OK, his sister Suzan Greenberg of Hermosa Beach, CA grandchildren Braxtene, Bailye, Skylar, Spencer, Sidney, Sawyer, Amber, Leslie, Jonathan, Salem and Colten and Andys faithful companion Rascal.

Andy was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Clifton Harris Jr.

Casket bearers will be James Sharpton, Jeff Smith, Marlon Thomas, Chris Pearson, David Lee Rodriguez and Bill Powell. Honorary casket bearer will be Robert Bob Slavens.
