Andrew Starkey

Andrew Starkey, 36, died on March 11, 2022, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. He was a resident of Borger, Texas.

Andrew was born on July 1, 1985, in Amarillo, Texas to Ramsey and Nikki (Improte) Starkey. He moved many times in his life and graduated from Siloam Springs High School in 2006. He was preceded in death by a sister, Angela, in 2014, grandparents Mike Improte, JoAnn Improte, and Richard Starkey, and one uncle, Randy Starkey. He is survived by his parents and one brother, Austin, of Borger, TX. He is also survived by several aunts, Rachel Ellenbecker and husband Joe of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; Janna Tetzlaff and husband Larry of Hettick, IL; Lori Thomas and husband Freddie of Borger, TX; Rachel Morales and husband Ramiro of Amarillo, TX; Ann Marie Luna and husband Joventino of Amarillo, TX; Essie Songy and husband Casey of Little Elm, TX, and two uncles, Rick Starkey and wife Lori of Springtown, TX, and David Pope and wife Cheryl of Waggoner, IL. He is also survived by one grandmother, Joyce Starkey, as well as cousins Amanda, Justin, Ryan, Kelsey, Ramiro, Nathaniel, Mikayla, Radley, Risa, Jeriah, Samantha, Noah, Chloe, and Cade.

Andrew was a bundle of energy from the time he was a toddler. As a child he loved doing somersaults off the back of the couch and climbing up the frame of any doorway he could find. He always did well in school and played the trumpet in band. He loved family and friends and was always up for a good time. He enjoyed all types of music, going to the lake, and just being in the great outdoors. Andrew was ornery at times, but he had a good heart and will be greatly missed by everyone who loved him.
