Ann Prock

March 5, 1941 — July 16, 2013

Ann Prock, 72, of Sanford passed from this earth to her heavenly home, Tuesday, July 16, 2013 in Amarillo. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday at Fairlanes Baptist Church with Jake Minton officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Ann was born March 5, 1941 in Fort Worth, Texas to Reuben and Erma Woodruff Hallmark. Ann grew up in Vernon, and married her high school sweetheart Clinton Prock August 9, 1958 in Vernon, Texas. She has lived in Hutchinson County for the past 54 years. Ann and Clinton raised their three children in Phillips, Texas and was always on hand to support her children in their school and sporting events. She loved horses and participated in Playdays, sponsored by the Hutchinson County Sheriffs Posse. Ann loved to grow flowers of all kinds, Crochet, Garden, Read and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Ann enjoyed her American Indian heritage by attending Pow Wows and various Indian events.

After raising her children, Ann worked at Phillips Petroleum Co. as a Lab Tech until her retirement. She and her husband enjoyed attending school and sporting events of their grandchildren, Nieces and nephews, and were avid fans of the Borger High School Girls Softball team.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter Andrea Ormon and her brother Royce Hallmark.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years Clinton, her two sons Walter Prock and his wife Debbie of Borger and Chief Prock and his wife Sharon also of Borger, her daughter Donna Ormon and her husband Rod of Sanford, five Grandchildren Chris Prock of Sanger, TX, Xan Ormon of Bryan, TX, Ashley and Bryce Taylor of Skellytown , Chase Prock of Borger and James Ormon of Slaton, TX and two Great Grandchildren Jordan and Dominic Taylor both of Skellytown and several Nieces and Nephews and their families.

The family will be staying at 138 West Ocla in Borger.
