Anna Clayton

Anna Sue Clayton, 89, passed away on January 17, 2019 at her home in Borger. A Celebration of Her Life will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the 1st Baptist Church of Borger with Pastor Charlie Morgan officiating. Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger

Ann was born September 26, 1929 in Borger to Charles Domer Gilbert and Ina Muriel Sartin Gilbert. She married Daywood "Sonny" Clayton July 11, 1969 in Borger. Ann has lived in Borger her whole life and was a bookkeeper for H and S Auto Clinic before retirement. Ann loved her church and was a member of the 1st Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Keith Clayton, two daughters Cathy and Lynn Clayton, her brother Charles Gilbert, and her three sisters Mildred Wright, Peggy Gilbert and Claris Turbett.

Ann is survived by her husband of 49 years Sonny, her son Jim Duncan and his wife Sandy of Houston, her daughter Rebecca Duncan Fish and her husband Jeff of Galveston, her two brothers Buddy Gilbert of Mesquite, TX and Tommy Gilbert of Bedford, TX, her sister Cathy Poole of Amarillo, five grandchildren Clayton Fish, J. R. Duncan, Stuart Duncan, Brittany Clayton and Blake Clayton and fifteen nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers give in memory to The Gideons International- The Borger Camp P. O. Box 5800, Borger, Texas 79008.
