Anna Todd, 75, passed away Friday, August 31, 2018, at her home, in Borger, TX.
A family memorial service will be held at a later date. At Anna's request,
cremation was under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of
Borger. Anna's close friends will also meet later to celebrate her life and
memory.
Anna was born November 10, 1942, in Paris, Texas, to Audrey (Martin) and Roy
Todd. Anna was raised in Roxton, TX. She graduated from Paris High School and
Paris Junior College. She was a member of Highland Park Methodist Church, in
Dallas, TX.
Anna was an entrepreneur, and in 1995 was recognized in Who's Who in
Entrepreneurs. In 2011, Anna retired from her Dallas, TX business, Sunshine
Enterprises, a company that served an elite clientele by coordinating everything
from chauffer services to catering gala events. Before Sunshine, Anna sold real
estate in Dallas, TX, and was on the original staff of Caesar's Palace, in Las Vegas,
NV.
As a teenager and young woman Anna had a keen sense of adventure. She loved
telling about a few of those exploits, ranging from parasailing behind her friend's
Cadillac convertible in Dallas, to motorcycle riding behind Steve McQueen in Las
Vegas. In later years, she would say that pushing her walker was about as wild as
it got.
Anna loved spending time with her family and friends and treasured every
moment with them. Before illness and injuries overtook her, Anna was the life of
any party, employing her quick wit, charm and infectious laugh to keep everyone
in stitches for hours.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Bill Todd and many
close cousins and dear friends. Survivors include her aunt, Penny McGraw, of
Oklahoma City; her sister in law, Linda Todd, of Borger, TX; nephew, Richard
