Annie Farstean Powell, 87, died Tuesday, June 19th, 2007 in Borger, Texas.BRBRServices will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Keeler Baptist Church with Dr. Paul Anderson, pastor, and Chaplain C. W. Parker of Odyssey Healthcare officiating. Interment will be in Vesperland Garden at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRMrs. Powell was born on December 30, 1919 in Sasakwa, Oklahoma. She had been a Borger resident for 58 years. She was a checker for Holt's Grocery for 27 years and was a member of Keeler Baptist Church. She married N. L. Leon Powell on March 9, 1935 in Konawa, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death on May 5, 1990. She was also preceded in death by her parents, A. H. Annie Hall, son - Earl Stanton Powell, daughter - Peggy Cowan and great-grandson - Nick Hopkins.BRBRShe is survived by two sons - LeRoy Powell wife, Janet of Borger, Jim Powell and wife, Diane of Midland, son-in-law - Jack Cowan of Borger, daughter - Carolyn Hopkins of Borger, brother- Brooks Hall of Oklahoma City, OK, ten grandchldren, eighteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.BRBRThe family will be staying at 308 Butadieno.
