Anthony Jay Hunter, 56, passed away Friday, November 13, 2020.

Graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, November 21, 2020 in Ochiltree Cemetery in Perryton under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.  Mr. Hunter will lie in state at the funeral home beginning      at 8 am on Thursday, November 19, 2020.

Anthony was born May 18, 1964 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Ralph Lee Hunter and Thelma Seiber Hunter.  A hard worker, he enjoyed his work as a pumper in the oil field.  He lived life to the fullest, loved to laugh, and had a great sense of humor especially when it came to pranking people.  Anthony liked to go fishing and catch rattlesnakes and lizards.  He also loved to shop on WISH and going to the casinos.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ralph and a nephew, Brian Price.

Survivors include his mother, Thelma Hunter of Stinnett; longtime companion, Delois Cardwell of Stinnett; daughters, Leslie Vincent and husband Tripp of Fritch, Lacey Apodaca and husband Antonio of Stinnett, Stephanie Duran and husband David of Borger; sons, Anthony Hunter, Jr. of Dalhart, Al Vasquez of Stinnett, Andrew Glendenning and wife Cynthany of Borger; eleven grandchildren, Ryan Phillips, Kelsey Phillips, Malachi Duran, Leah Duran, Sirena Apodaca, Antonio Apodaca, Lucas Apodaca, Brianna Vincent, Vanden Vincent, Stella Glendenning, Scarlet Glendenning; brothers, Danny Hunter of Stinnett, Richard Hunter and wife Tina of Stinnett; sisters, Jeri Jett and Clyde Barker of Stinnett, Lori Price and husband CH of Stinnett, Donna Joy of Borger; his two beloved canine companions, Motley and Molly; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
