Arley Alejandro Morales, 26, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at St. John Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Monday, January 27, 2025, at the funeral home.
Arley was born July 14, 1998, in Borger to Armando Morales, Jr. and Veronica Merez Morales. He enjoyed playing basketball and video games. Arley was a talented rapper. He also skateboarded and rode scooters. An avid Dallas Cowboy fan, he tried to never miss a game. He enjoyed listening to Metallica, Little Peep and Hollywood Undead.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Veronica Morales; and grandmother, Lucia Morales.
He is survived by his son, Zayd Morales of Stinnett; daughter, Xiylah Morales of Amarillo; wife, Jocelyn Phoummyphard of Amarillo; father, Armando Morales, Jr. and Kimberly Fisher of Borger; stepmother, Linda Munoz and Don Murray of Borger; grandfather, Armando Morales, Sr. and wife Aracely of Borger; siblings, Harvey Morales of Mexico, Angel Morales of Mexico, Veronica Morales of Borger, Julio Venzor and Elisa “Pete” Blackwell of Fritch, Abel Munoz of Borger, Aubrey Munoz of Borger, Craig Kesner of Borger, Myra Amy Munoz of Borger, Neca Kesner of San Antonio, Amy Makhoul and husband Jaber of Borger; aunts, Lety Morales of Borger, Arasely “Chelly” Morales of Borger; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and friends.
