Arthur Conner

Arthur “Art” Lee Conner, 74, passed away Thursday, March 18, 2021.

A celebration of his life will be held 2 pm Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Grace Church.

Art was born August 31, 1946 in Olympia, Washington to J.B. Conner and Cathrin Budke Conner.  He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1966-1970 doing two tours in Vietnam aboard the USS Serrano.  Art married Jean Ann Bryant on January 1, 2005.  He worked as a superintendent for Baltimore Air Coil for 35 years, building ceramic cooling towers all over the world.  Art enjoyed tinkering in his shop.  He was a generous, kind, loving man and a good friend.  Nothing brought more joy to his life than his role as the greatest Papa in the world.

He is preceded in death by his parents, J.B. and Cathrin Conner; wife, Jean Ann Conner; and brother, James B. Conner.

Survivors include his daughter, Rachael Wade and husband Shane of Canyon; grandsons, Conner and Dillon Wade; sister, Marge Conner of Borger; sisters-in-law, Judy Conner of Amarillo, Lynn Bryant of Borger; nephews, Jason Conner and wife Nara of Washington, Jerry Bryant of Borger; and a host of extended family.
