Asker Gube Raymond Harp, 90, of Fritch died Monday, December 31, 2012 in Amarillo. Graveside Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 3, 2013, at the Stinnett Cemetery with Rev. Leonard Forsythe officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.
Asker was born on April 4, 1921 in Warner, Oklahoma to Willam Rosco and Clara Ethel Porter Harp. He married Georgia Harris Harp on March 8, 1946, in Arkansas. Asker served his country in the Army Air Corp in World War II. He collected clocks, and any items pertaining to the railroad, and loved working with wood.
Asker was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia, on June 4, 2012 his parents eight brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his daughter, Beverly Cranfill and husband Larry of Fritch a sister, Betty Rogers of Borger Granddaughter Mindy Daniels of Fritch.
