BRAudie Viella Nicholson, 94, died Monday, September 25th in Borger, Texas.BRBRServices will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Church of Christ at Borger with Mr. Richard Kasko, Minister of the Fritch Church of Christ officiating. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Dreamland Cemetery in Turkey, Texas under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRMrs. Nicholson was born on November 11, 1911 in Hall County, Texas. She graduated from Turkey High School and went on to graduate from West Texas State Teachers College. She taught algebra, geometry, math, English, chemistry, physics, general and applied science in schools in Hall County, Tx. Samnorwood, Tx., Canyon, Tx., Borger High School, Lubbock Senior High School, Phillips High School, Portales, New Mexico,Cripple Creek, Colorado and at Frank Phillips College in Borger. She married Connie Nicholson on February 16, 1946 and he preceded her in death on September 10, 1994. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Zella May.BRBRShe is survived by her sister-in-law - Louise Nicholson of Fritch, several cousins and her special friends - Tony and Betty Rusk of Fritch and L.J. and Maxine Sells of Borger.BRBRHonorary casket bearers will be Wes Balentine, Garland Kite, Clarence McGehee and L. J. Sells.
