Audrey Ratliff Darnell, 91, died Monday, June 8, 2009 in BorgerBRBRServices will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Minton Memorial Chapel with Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in The Garden of Beatitudes at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRMrs. Darnell was born on December 4, 1917 in Cooke County, Texas and had been a Borger resident since 1943. She married William Clayton Ratliff on September 30, 1936 in Sunset, TX and he preceded her in death in 1971. She then married Charles Darnell on March 12, 1976 in Borger. She was a homemaker, member of Calvary Baptist Church and loved craftwork.BRBRShe is survived by her husband Charles M. Darnell of the Home, six sons - Perry Edwin Ratliff of Borger, Cas Henry Ratliff of Fr4itch, Gerald Wayne Ratliff of Borger, Clifton Ray Ratliff of Turney, MO, William Clayton Ratliff, Jr. of Blue Springs, MO, Eldon Leroy Ratliff of Amarillo, step-son - Gayland Darnell of Borger, daughter - Clara Alice Willis of McLean, TX, brother - Paul Henry Yarbrough of Borger, forty-two grandchildren, numerous great and great-grandchildren.BRBRThere will be family visitation at the Borger funeral home on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
