Austine Embers Jr, 72 of Borger died Friday January 18th in Amarillo.
Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Minton Memorial Chapel. Cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
He was born August 15, 1946 in Vernon, TX to Austine Embers Sr and Dorothy (Sauls) Embers. He was a machinist in the natural gas industry. He married Merlean Jones May 17, 1972 in Borger. He played softball and dominoes.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
Surviving are his wife Merlean. Sons Marcus Jones and wife Denise; Joe Jones and wife Sophia all of Borger. Daughter Jenneane Dickson and husband Ricky of Borger. Brother Donnie Embers of San Antonio, TX. Sisters Phyllis Wilson of Borger; Truzell Holliwell of Borger and Lorretta Sauls of CA. Eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
