Barbara Chavez

Barbara Anne Chavez, 72 of Borger after a long battle with chronic illness passed away on December 19, 2020 in Borger. Cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Barbara was born July 26, 1948 in Biloxi, MS to William Bernard and Barbara Camille (Lehman) Ames. While life threw her difficulties from the start, her warm personality shined through. Her proudest moments were graduation from high school and many jobs. She never met a stranger. Warm hearted she could talk your ear off or hug your stuffing’s out. With a unique perspective on life she could make you smile. She did have her moments as do most of us but seemed to recover with a smile after the tears.
