Barbara Demoss

Barbara A. De Moss, 73, passed away Saturday Nov. 13th at Borger, Texas. Funeral services will be Tuesday Nov. 16th at First Baptist Church Borger with Rev. Mark DeMoss, pastor of Capitol Hill Baptist Church Oklahoma City officiating and Rev. Steve Taylor, pastor of First Baptist Church of Borger assisting. Burial will be in the Garden of Good Shepherd at Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Barbara was born January 3, 1937 at Borger, Texas to N. C. Smokey Lanham and Gladys Griffin Lanham. She was a housewife and a member of First Baptist Church of Borger since 1975. She was also a longtime member of Beta Sigma Phi where she held many offices. She was a manager of Connies Bridal and Formal Wear and Zales Jewelry in Borger. She married Rodney DeMoss August 19, 1956 at Borger.

She is survived by her husband of the home. Sons Brett and wife Lynette De Moss of El Campo, Texas, Mark and wife Susan of Oklahoma City, Ok. Brothers Carold Lanham of Amarillo, Tx, John C. Tuffy Lanham of Dumas, TX. and K. O. Lanham of Borger. Sister Evelyn Dwiggins of Chandler, Arizona. Four grandchildren Bryan, Zachary, Noah and Hannah. One great grandson Brooks.

Visitation will be Monday Nov. 15th at Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors fropm 6 pm to 8 pm. Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Baptist Home for Children, 1603 S. Western Ave. Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
