Barbara Jean Fowler

Barbara Jean Fowler, 81, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2023 in Borger.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Friday, September 15, 2023, at the Church of Christ at Borger.  Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.  In lieu of flowers please honor her memory with a gift to the Church of Christ at Borger, 1100 Bulldog Blvd, Borger, Texas 79007.

Barbara was born May 2, 1942, in Borger to Joe C. Taylor and Ruby Horn Taylor.   She married Ned Fowler on July 27, 2002.  Barbara enjoyed playing games on her iPad and going for shopping therapy.  She liked to visit and share her love of the Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Ruby Taylor; husband, Ned Fowler; son, Charles Stubbs; sister, Betty Alford; and brothers, Calvin and Raymond Taylor.

Survivors include her daughter, Nita Stubbs; sister-in-law, Billye Taylor; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
