Barbara Harris

Barbara Ann Harris, 72, died April 16, 2017 in Amarillo. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Arden Rd. Baptist Church in Amarillo with Pastor Aaron Denson officiating. Burial will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park in Borger under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Barbara was born April 15, 1945 in San Francisco, CA to Allen Boyd Harrell and Virginia Mae Linder Harrell. She lived in the Borger area since 1951 and had lived in Amarillo for the past 12 years. Barbara was a devout Christian and loved Television Preachers. Her grandkids were her blessings and she loved shopping at Walmart. She married Andrew Harris III February 27, 1964 in Borger. She loved her dog Beau and anything chocolate especially Reese's.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Andy in 2009.

She is survived by her son Andrew Harris and his wife Darah of Bartlesville, OK, her two daughters Jana Smith and her husband Tim and Amanda Parker and her husband Justin both of Amarillo, her sister Glenda Vanfickle of Ft. Worth and her nine grandchildren Braxten and Bailye Smith, Salem and Colten Parker, Skyler, Spencer, Sidney and Sawyer Harris and Will Sweeden.

Casket Bearers will be Braxten Smith, Skyler Harris, Spencer Harris, Sawyer Harris, Bill Powell, Gene Kemp and Colten Parker.

Barbara will lie in State at Schooler Funeral Home in Amarillo until 11:00 a.m. Tuesday.
