Barbara Henderson

Barbara Jean Henderson was born on November 20th, 1950 to Oral and Eva Drake in Pampa Texas. She passed from this life Monday, February 7, 2022 in Amarillo. She married James “Pete” Henderson in January of 1969 in Borger.

Her family moved to Borger Texas at a young age where she attended school; later becoming a Registered Nurse for nearly 40 years. Outside of her passion for family, she enjoyed sewing and quilting. Barbara loved helping people.

She was proceeded in death by; her parents, her set of twin sons Willy and Billy, sister Lou Ann Rogers and a grandson Gage.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of fifty-three years, James “Pete” Henderson of Amarillo, her two sons Tom Henderson and Paul Henderson and his wife Charla both of Amarillo;  her daughter Dawn Barnes and her husband Scott of Baton Rouge, La. Her Grandchildren: Austin, Brandon, Tyler, Kanon, Karlie, Meighan, Ashley, Aaron and Logan and her brothers Jerry and Bobby Drake.  As well as a host of extended family members whom she adored.

A Celebration of her Life will be 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 11, 2022 at Minton Memorial Chapel in Borger under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
