Barbara Harris

Amarillo Funeral services for Barbara Jane Harris, 87, will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in Minton Memorial Chapel in Borger. Chaplain Jeff Messer, BSA Hospice will officiate. Interment will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Mrs. Harris died Sunday in Amarillo.

She was a member of the 1st Presbyterian Church in Borger and was an Elkette. She loved bridge and bingo. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband A. C. and son Andy. She and A. C. moved to Borger in 1953 and started with Heard and Jones Drug Store then Harris Pharmacy then H and W Pharmacy and retired from H and M Pharmacy.

She is survived by her daughter Suzan Greenberg of Hermosa Beach, CA, 4 Grandchildren Jana Smith, Andrew Harris, Jessica Roberts and Amanda Parker, 11 GreatGrandchildren Braxten, Bailye, Skyler, Spencer, Sidney, Sawyer, Salem, Colten, Ashlyn, Christian and Gavyn.

Casket bearers will be Braxten Smith, Skyler Harris, Spencer Harris, Chris Pearson, Don Chisholm and Marlin Thomas.
