Barbara Kay

Barbara Kay, 92, died Monday, February 8, 2010 in Amarillo.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at First Southern Baptist Church in Fritch with Rev. Calvin Winters, pastor and Rev. John Denton, former pastor officiating. Interment will be in The Garden of Good Shepherd at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.

Mrs. Kay was born on March 2, 1917 in Stephenville, TX.
She was a teacher for twenty years for Sanford Fritch Independent School District. She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. D. Kay on February 19, 2008, daughter Cherry Hamilton and son Gary Dean Kay.

She is survived by three grandsons Bruce Hamilton of Tulsa, OK, Brian Hamilton of Amarillo, Chip Hamilton of Oregon, one granddaughter Tish Blackwell and husband Billy of Borger, nine greatgrandchildren, two brothers Henry Fulfer of Jal, NM, Elmo Fulfer of Cleburn, TX, and one sister Edna Kuykendall of Los Angeles, CA.
