Barbara Ann McRae, 87, passed away Friday, February 18, 2022.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm Monday, February 21, 2022, at Memory Gardens in Pampa, Texas under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at the Minton-Chatwell funeral home in Fritch.
Barbara was born April 18, 1934, in Attica, Kansas to Floyd LaVone Lewis and Avarilla Sharp Lewis. She married William Donald "Don" Mills on May 24, 1956, in White Deer. Don preceded her in death on July 14, 1996. She then married Gale McRae on October 11, 1997. He also preceded her in death on February 15, 2021.
Barbara was a 58-year member of the First United Methodist Church in Fritch where she sang in the choir, served on the Finance Committee and many other roles throughout the years. She enjoyed tending to her flowers, bird watching and oil painting. Nothing brought more joy to her life than her family.
Also preceding her in death are her parents, Floyd and Avarilla Lewis, sisters, Marguerite Collins, Neva Peters, Mae Louise Franklin; brothers, Floyd Lewis, and Alvin Lewis; and step-son Joe Neal McRae.
Survivors include her sons, Randy Mills and wife Gail, Curtis Mills and wife Dana; her step-daughter Ola Jean Ward and husband Eddie; grandchildren, Kelley Mills, Amy and Jesus Villasenor, Lacey and Justin Farmer, Mallory and Matt Karins, Chris and Kathryn Mills, Stacey Mills and Fiancée Eric Rippetoe, Sarah and Rapha Rega, Seth and Kassi Ward, John and Claire Ward; great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Sarah and Ethan Mills, Jayven and Amiyah Villasenor, Lexie Farmer, Rylan and Aiden Karins, Bryson Warren, Easton Farmer, Isabella Rega, Kiaya Rogers and Beckley Ward, Reagan, Anna and Joshua Walls, Grace, Issac, Shepard, Cliff, Kelley Connor and Gabriella Jean Rega.
