Barbara Patak

Funeral services for Barbara Jean Patak, 76, of Borger will be Monday, November 7, at Fairlanes Baptist Church with Pastor Paul Burwash officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Mrs. Patak died Thursday, November 3 in Amarillo.

Barbara served in the Navy during the Korean War in the hospital corps. She was a 1952 graduate of Phillips High School and a lifetime resident of this area. She married Robert Patak on March 6, 1954 in New York. Barbara loved to crochet, needlepoint, any crafts, cooking, playing games and liked to watch Jeopardy. She retired from Phillips Petroleum Co. as a Keypunch Operator.

Mrs. Patak was preceded in death by her parents and her son Joe Patak.

She is survived by her husband Bob, her son Tony Patak and his wife Loree of Bartlesville, OK, her daughter Kem Mullens and her husband Roger of Fritch, a daughter in law Linda Patak of LaPorte, TX, 1 brother Bill Hanna of Wichita, KS, 6 Grandchildren and 2 GreatGrandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Funeral Home.

Donations may be made to MS Society or American Heart Association.
