Bennie Diggs

PANHANDLE
Benjiman Bennie Raymond Diggs, 90, of Panhandle passed away, Tuesday, October 21, 2014, in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday at the Panhandle Cemetery, under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle.

Bennie was born March 23, 1924 in Greer, New Mexico, to Raymond and Gladis Diggs. He was a cowboy Chuckwagon Cook for J.A. Ranch.
Bennie was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and a daughter, Betty Cate.

Survivors include his stepsons, Galen Booth of Panhandle and Val Boothe of Borger stepdaughters Linda Caulkins and Wilma Wood, both from Amarillo brother, Leroy Diggs of Cleo Springs, OK and niece, Anna Fay Lawrence of Kingfisher.
