Benny Hicks

December 8, 1965 — January 5, 2010

Benny Ray Hicks, 44, of Panhandle, TX, passed away on January 5, 2010, from complications related to cancer. He was a life long resident of Panhandle and served four years with distinction in the U.S. Army.

Benny is survived by his wife Holly and five beautiful daughters Brittany from Panhandle, Megan from Canyon, Berkley, Brooklynn, and Maci from Panhandle five brothers Bob from Panhandle, Bill from Amarillo, Barry from Panhandle, Buddy from Austin, and Bryan from Panhandle. He also leaves four sisterinlaws, nine nieces, one nephew, two great nieces, two great nephews, wonderful relatives, and many close friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Benny and Bonnie of Panhandle, an uncle and aunt, and grandparents.

Services will be at First Baptist Church in Panhandle, Monday January 11, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Bill Fuller of El Paso, TX officiating. Interment will be in Panhandle Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle.

Contributions in memory of Benny can be made to the Panhandle Cancer Cure Foundation PCCF at 1000 Coulter, Ste 100, Amarillo, TX 79106, Attn: Jennifer. PCCF, associated with Texas Oncology, funds research, education, and financial assistance to cancer patients.
