Bernice Rutkowski

Bernice Ana Rutkowski, 81, died Sunday, January 2, 2011 in Amarillo.

Rosary service will be at 6:00 p.m. Monday at St. Theresas Catholic Church.
Funeral Mass will be at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at St. Theresas Catholic Church with Father Mierzyslaw Przepiora officiating. Interment will be in Panhandle Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle.

Mrs. Rutkowski was born on November 20, 1929 in Groom, TX and had been a lifetime resident of Panhandle and Groom. She graduated from Panhandle High School and married Sam Rutkowski August 10, 1948 in Panhandle. She was a member of St. Theresas Catholic Church.

She is survived by her son Sam J. Rutkowski and wife Rhonda of Canyon, daughter Diane Forbes of Panhandle, brother Pete Kuehler and wife Emma of Panhandle, two sisters Madelin Labus and Genevieve Kuehler both of Panhandle, four grandchildren and eleven greatgrandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Theresas Catholic Church, Box 366, Panhandle, 79068, or to BSA Hospice, Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79105.
