Betty Colley

Betty Jean Colley, 82, died Thursday, March 24, 2011 in Borger.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 28th, at Minton Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jeff Hutchison, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mrs. Colley was born on February 3, 1929 in Pampa and had been a Borger resident since the early 1950s, moving here from Pampa. She married James Colley on March 16, 1950 and was a homemaker. She was a member of Calvary Baptist church and enjoyed art and sewing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James, two sons Linton and Craig, her parents, William Nettie McCrate, and one sister Mildred McCrate Mason.

Betty is survived by her son Leigh Colley and his wife Minerva of Grand Prairie, TX, a brother Phil McCrate and wife Johnnie of Enid, OK, five grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.
