Betty Jane D'Arcy, 86, died Wednesday, June 4, 2008 in Borger, Texas.BRBRRosary service will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Minton Memorial Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at St. John's Catholic Church with Father Norbert Kuehler, officiating. Interment will be in The Garden of Serenity at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRMrs. D'Arcy was born on August 7, 1921 in Boise, Idaho. She graduated from Mercy School of Nursing in Sacramento, CA. She was an Ensign in the US Navy during WW II and was an RN at North Plains Hospital in Borger. She married Robert M. D'Arcy on October 14, 1943 in Los Angeles, CA and he preceded her in death in 2000.BRBRShe is survived by two sons - Robert Zeke D'Arcy, Jr. and wife, Mary of Bakersfield, CA, Mark D'Arcy of Borger, daughter - Cindy Tice of The Woodlands, TX, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.BRBRMemorials may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation.BR
