Betty Davis

Betty R. Davis, 78, formerly a resident of Borger, TX died Thursday, August 4 at Little Rock, Arkansas.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Westlawn Memorial Park . Interment will be beside her husband Dennis Devoe Davis under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Betty was born August 8, 1932 in Foreman, AR to Clarrice and Alsie Douglass. She married Dennis Devoe Davis November 27, 1971 in Borger. She was an active member of the Borger Elks Lodge and the Borger Country Club. She owned Special Effects Beauty Shop on Cedar St. and was an active business woman. Betty was a member of the Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Devoe Davis May 4, 1989 and her daughterinlaw Connie Jo Davis.

Betty is survived by two sons Douglass D. Davis of Waco, TX and Don DeVoe Davis and wife Mary of Clarksville, AR, one sister Mary Schrader of Waco, TX and her son Jack D. Schrader. She had 3 Grandsons, two stepgranddaughters and six stepgreat grandchildren.
