Betty Gamble

Betty Lorene Gamble, 79, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013 in Fritch.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Saturday, April 20, 2013 in the Minton Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Betty was born March 15, 1934 in Wheeler, Texas to John and Avis Scott, however she was raised by her loving stepfather, L.D. Broome. She married Dan Franklin Gamble June 15, 1952 in Borger, Texas.

Betty was a member of the Borger Elkettes, Ladies Gold League and enjoyed bowling.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Katherine Basham in May of 2011.

Survivors include her husband, Dan Gamble of Fritch son, Danny Lee Gamble of Skellytown soninlaw, Larry Don Basham of Fritch grandson, James David Basham and his wife, Liza and a host of extended family.
