Betty Gifford

Borger Funeral services for Betty Lou Nana Gifford, 84, will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at the 1st Christian Church with Pastor James Stephens officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mrs. Gifford moved to Borger with her family in July 1926 and she was a telephone clerk for Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. She was a charter member and organizer of the Elkettes, a charter member of the ABWA and a member of the VFW Auxiliary. Betty married Preston Gifford May 9, 1943 in Oklahoma City, OK while he was in the U. S. Navy.

She was preceded in death by her husband Preston and her brother Simeon Hull.

She is survived by her daughter Linda Chisholm and husband Don of Borger, her brother Joe Hull of Burleson, TX, 2 Grandchildren Duffy Chisholm and Leslie Chisholm, 2 GreatGrandchildren Kirklan Chisholm and Bristol Dickerson.

The Family will be at 207 Caprock in Borger.
