Betty Heathington

Betty Louise Heathington, 69, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2014.

Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Celebration Family Church in Fritch. Arrangements are by MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Betty was born November 17, 1945 in Fort Worth, Texas to Louie and Christine McPherson. She was a retired cook for Cal Farleys Boy Ranch. Betty was a member of Grace Fellowship. The cook of the family she was always willing to help people. Painting was Bettys favorite pastime, however nothing brought joy to her life like her kids, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed family and said that they are what make life interesting.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Keith Butch Heathington her parents and a brother, David McPherson.

Survivors include her children, John Raines and wife Rita of Pampa, Kenneth Raines and wife Linda of McLean, Willie Harriman and wife, Darla of Fritch, Debbie Henderson of Borger, Marvin Heathington and wife Dena of Fritch, Renee Haanen and husband Michael of Borger 21 grandchildren 15 great grandchildren motherinlaw, Bea Babe Heathington of Canyon brothers, Harold McPherson and wife Carolyn of Cleburne, James Hammons and wife Mary of Cleburne sister, Patricia McPhersonStainthorpe of Abilene sisterinlaws, Linda McPherson of Weston, West Virginia, Boots Stone and husband, James of McLean and a host of extended family.
