Betty Jones

Betty Ruth Jones, 54 of Amarillo, formerly of Borger died Wednesday, January 25, 2017. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, at the New Zion Baptist Church in Borger. Burial will follow at the Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Betty was born in Paducah, TX on March 19, 1962 to James and Lenora (Ainsworth) Burks. She graduated from Paducah High School. Betty was a Home Health Care provider and she loved watching her grandkids.
Betty is survived by her sons, Demetrice Jones and wife, Jackie, Clifton Jones, Malcome Torres, all of Borger and Jamal Jones of Crowell, TX; daughters, Diane Jones, Felisha Jones both of Amarillo, and Lacole Jones of Borger; brothers, Carl Jones, Leroy Jones and wife, Patricia, and John Jones all of Borger; sisters, Merlean Embers and husband, Austin, Erma Smith and husband, James, Novella Jones all of Borger; Betty was blessed with four grandchildren, Ladarius Mosley, Jonavan Gutierrez, Avian Jones, Jahnyla Jones and a host of nieces and nephews.
