Betty Jones

Betty Lou Jones, 77, passed away Monday, March 7, 2016.

Funeral service will be held 1 pm Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at the Fritch Church of Christ with Mr. Richard Kasko officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral of Fritch. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Betty was born April 7, 1938 in Borger to Lola (Neeley) and Otto Phillips. She married Alvin Jones on July 3, 1955 in Borger. Betty was a true caretaker who took care of everyone. She enjoyed holidays with all the family but nothing brought more joy to her life than being with her grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Earlene Miller.

Survivors include her husband, Alvin of the home; sons, Adrian Jones and wife Mary Ann of Silt, Colorado, Curtis Jones and wife Sheila of Alabama; daughter, Brenda Caudle and Mike Wafford of Enid, Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren, Josh Jones and fiancé Geneice, Victoria Gould and husband Evan, Jeremy Jones and partner Levi, Shelieda Jones, Anna Jones, Violet Kelly, James Jones, Sheila Jones, Scott Isbell and wife Angela, Jody Isbell and wife Vanesa, Brienna Downs and husband Jason; twenty-two great grandchildren; brothers, Larry Phillips and wife Mary of Fritch, Boyd Phillips and wife Durlene of Fritch; dear friends, Don and Linda Wright of Fritch; and a host of extended family and friends.
