Betty Reedy

Betty Jo Cox Reedy, 87 of Fritch died Saturday May 25th in Amarillo. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, May30th at Hale County Cemetery Petersburg, Texas with Rev. Jerry Don Cheshire, pastor of Fritch United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.

Betty was born September 24, 1925 in Fisher County. She had been a Hutchinson County resident since 1953. She married Johnnie W. Reedy September 21, 1942 at Petersburg, Texas. She was a member of the Trinity Church of the Nazarene in Borger. She worked long and hard in the Fritch Church of the Nazarene.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1998, Son Roger Dale in 1949, her parents, two brothers Monty Cox and Edward Cox and a sister Rosalie McNeeley.

She is survived by daughters Jonitta Ward of Amarillo, Kathy Welchel of Fritch and Jodena Dotson also of Fritch. Nine Grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren and loving care giver Carley and best friend Darla.
